Calisthenics is used by many people to stay healthy and fit. However depending on your specific goal, the way you choose to train really matters.
For instance, if you want to burn fat, you should train at a faster tempo and focus more on getting your heartrate up. However, if you want to increase your reps/endurance, you should instead focus on high rep sets with longer rests in between. This helps you focus on time under tension rather than cardio.
This program was intended to help you increase reps, raw strength, and explosive power. It was created using the same technique I used when training for the Muscle-up Guinness World Record.
Some exercises are performed to failure, some include long rest times between sets, and some challenge you to find your max reps in a short period of time.
As a champion calisthenics athlete and Guinness record holder, I can promise you that this system works. The difference all comes down to you and your hustle.
